Brand Story

While traveling throughout the Andean regions, Sasha was in awe of their landscapes and way of living. She learned about the indigenous Andean cultures' fertility goddess Pachamama. Pachamama translates to Mother Earth in Quecha. In an instant she had a guttural reaction that she needed to start a company that focused on women's health, non-toxic products, and find a way to give back to the environment all in one. She was enamored by the traditions many South American countries devoted towards our beautiful Pachamama, and well this is her personal ode to making the change she wants to see, from Sashamama to another mama.

As a solo female business owner, she has an immense passion and emotional attachment towards pelvic floor, hormonal, prenatal, and postnatal health. Throughout her teenager years she dealt with many hormonal imbalance issues, ovary pains, painful periods and pelvic floor problems. In her early 20's, she went to a pelvic floor psychical therapist and was overwhelmed with her ack of knowledge towards her own body. She knew she needed to make big changes in her life.

She re-vamped her makeup, cleaning items, ingestible and topical items to only contain non-toxic ingredients. So many products she had been using were endocrine disrupters.

An endocrine disrupter is a chemical that may mimic or interfere with the body’s hormones, known as the endocrine system. Studies show that these chemicals are linked with developmental, reproductive, brain, immune, hormonal, and many other problems.

Aside from adding non-toxic products into her routine, she became a certified yoga instructor. She recognized how connected movement and breathe was for her body and it's healing process.

With time, she felt drawn to creating a luxury wellness kit that allows you to feel pampered pre pregnancy, during pregnancy, and afterwards. Each product took time, but was thoughtfully curated and created by Sasha. We take the time to celebrate baby, but mothers are the foundation of it all and deserve the recognition.
