Our Story

While traveling through the Andes, Sasha was in awe of the landscapes and the way of living. There she learned about Pachamama, the Andean goddess of Mother Earth; in Quechua, Pachamama means Mother Earth. In an instant, she knew she needed to start a company devoted to women, non-toxic products and giving back to the environment, all in one. She was enamored by the traditions so many South American cultures devote to our beautiful Pachamama. Sashamama is her personal ode to making the change she wants to see, from Sashamama to another mama.

As a solo female business owner, Sasha has a deep passion for supporting women through every season: before pregnancy, during it and long after. Her own journey started in her teens and early twenties. She realized how little she had been taught about her own body, and knew she wanted to make big changes in her life.

She revamped her makeup, cleaning products and everyday essentials to contain only clean, non-toxic ingredients. She became a certified yoga instructor and discovered how deeply movement and breath connect us to ourselves.

With time, she felt drawn to creating a luxury wellness kit that lets women feel pampered before pregnancy, during pregnancy and afterward. Each product took time, and each was thoughtfully curated and created by Sasha. We take the time to celebrate the baby, but mothers are the foundation of it all, and they deserve to be celebrated too.
